Nobel Prize is one of the set of prizes that are awarded each year to people who have done innovative work in chemistry, physics, physiology or medicine, literature, economics, and peace. This prize given on the memory of Alfred Nobel. He was an inventor, entrepreneur, scientist and businessman who also wrote poetry and drama. This prize was established in 1901 for outstanding achievements in physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, literature and for work in peace. Also the prize for economics being added in 1969.

1. The Nobel Prize in Physics 2022
Work:- “for experiments with entangled photons, establishing the violation of Bell inequalities and pioneering quantum information science”.
2. The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2022
Work:- “for his discoveries concerning the genomes of extinct hominins and human evolution”.
Winner:- Svante Pääbo.
3. The Nobel Prize in Literature 2022
Work:- “for the courage and clinical acuity with which she uncovers the roots, estrangements and collective restraints of personal memory”
Winner:- Annie Ernaux.
4. The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2022
Work:- “for the development of click chemistry and bio-orthogonal chemistry”
Winner:- Carolyn R. Bertozzi, Morten Meldal, K. Barry Sharpless.
5. The Nobel Peace Prize 2022
Work:- “The Peace Prize laureates represent civil society in their home countries. They have for many years promoted the right to criticise power and protect the fundamental rights of citizens. They have made an outstanding effort to document war crimes, human right abuses and the abuse of power. Together they demonstrate the significance of civil society for peace and democracy”
6. The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2022
Work:- “for research on banks and financial crises”.
